This event was launched as Henan Province's "Respect for the Elderly Month" was widely carried out. Under the guidance of the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Henan Provincial Library collaborated with public libraries in various prefecture-level cities to jointly build a provincial "silver-haired" group learning and exchange platform. The goal was to enjoy a healthy silver-aged life and promote the construction of a book-loving Henan. According to the requirements of the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism's "2025 'Yu Shines · Read Together' National Reading Series Activity Plan," public libraries at all levels in our province actively responded by launching the "Silver-haired Book Fragrance: Enjoy the Four Seasons" classic recitation collection and performance event, with 18 libraries recommending 88 outstanding works.
This exhibition gathers outstanding reading works submitted by libraries in seven cities across the province: Nanyang City Library's "I Am a Reader" is presented with a simple and heartfelt recitation, expressing a love for the art of recitation; The book "Reading China," selected by Xinxiang City Library, expressed deep admiration for the motherland with majestic momentum; Puyang City Library's selection of 'When I Grow Old' elegantly narrates reflections on the journey of life; Xuchang City Library's selected "I Am Dongfeng, Mission Must Be Accomplished" showcased the sense of mission and commitment of the silver generation; The book "A Fountain Pen" presented by Pingdingshan City Library connects youth and years through heartfelt performance; The "Chinese Ode" selected by Zhengzhou Library presents the profound and extensive Chinese culture with its grand momentum; The Luoyang City Library's selected "Chinese Language" showcases the unique charm of the mother tongue through rich linguistic artistry.

Guests and readers watched together; these works were all created by elderly readers, showcasing their rich spiritual and cultural lives.
