The Lantern Festival arrives, and the rhythm of poetry fills the Central Plains. On February 28, the Bingwu Lantern Festival Poetry Gathering and Provincial Children's Reading Outstanding Works Exhibition, hosted by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, organized by the Henan Provincial Library, and co-organized by public libraries at all levels across the province, was spectacularly staged at the Henan Provincial Library. The event began with the opening dance "Lantern Festival Song" performed by the young performers from Zhengzhou Erqi District Art Primary School. The on-site display of the "Childlike Heart Toward the Motherland" recitation collection showcased the fruitful achievements of children's recitation activities across the province. At the event, renowned reciters and recitation enthusiasts performed together, while new children's recitations showcased their talents. Numerous programs took turns to present the audience with a rich traditional cultural feast.

Children from libraries in Nanyang, Sanmenxia, Gongyi, Zhongmou, and the Henan Provincial Library's "Quyuan Reading Club" jointly presented Lantern Festival poetry recitals, from "The Night of the Fifteenth Day of the First Lunar Month" to "Jade Table: Lantern Festival," leading the audience to experience the millennia-old poetry of the Lantern Festival. "Looking Up at the Starry Sky" by Wen County Library, "The Joy of Snowflakes" by Henan Provincial Library Children's Dream Drama Club and Zhengzhou Institute of Engineering Technology, and "The Moon Is Brighter in My Hometown" by Kaifeng City Library, each has its own charm—some full of longing, some light and lively, some evoking nostalgia. Bi Yasi, a director of the Sheng Professional Committee of the China National Orchestra Society and inventor of the nation's first cultural instrument, the "Double-Pipe Sheng and Di," performed the timeless masterpiece "Bring in the Wine" through combined performances and recitations. The melodious music intertwined with the sound of reading aloud, creating a majestic atmosphere; The Shangqiu Cultural Center presented "China Under the Moonlight," which evokes a profound and profound artistic conception. At the end of the event, first-class actor and drama artist Cai Xiaoyi led the recitation of "Chinese New Year," with all performers taking the stage to chant together, bringing the poetry gathering to a successful close. The prize-winning interactive segment set up on site further enhanced the lively and joyful atmosphere of the Lantern Festival.
